I still remember this day very dnciitstly. I grew up in Canada's capital city so it was a pretty chaotic day for our city as well, thinking we were next. Plus Canada had to take in all those hundreds of flights that were in the air that day heading to the states. It was my 2nd day of uni and the university is about 10 min walk from the Canadian parliament buildings. My mum was working in the city and we were trying to get ahold of her and determine whether classes were cancelled because they were evacuating the city centre in case something happened there. I spent the next week just sitting in front of the tv I still have the newspapers from that week somewhere back home. That Christmas we visited family friends in Washington and were able to see the Pentagon in person. It is still astounding to me what happened that day and I can't believe someone can hate that much. That day definitely changed the world forever .I still can't look at a low flying plane without thinking about those pictures.I'm sorry you never got to visit the Twin Towers but good for you getting that out. Besides .there's still New York to visit!
